 Sangatt Foundation is a non profit governmental organization, committed to provide basic amenities like Education and Food to all. We are on a verge of change. Change that will be for better. Change that will deliver smile as a gift to everyone.
Its a commutative effort of educated, self driven & experienced professional of different fields with a passion to improve the quality of life for oppressed and marginalized people. Everyone in SANGATT pledges to work with compassion so as to make the voices of the aback classes audible.
SANGATT is not just an NGO, it is a family.
All individuals and corporate donations are tax exempted under Section 80 G of Income Tax Act.
Vision
SANGATT sights to provide basic amenities like food and education to all. It also aims to work towards women empowerment. Overall, SANGATT intents to change society at large. Change society as a whole.
Mission
The aims and objectives for which SANGATT FOUNDATION is established are:
- To provide necessary forum for identifying the general and specific problems of the underprivileged children, aged and poor in the society and formulation & implementation of plans, projects, policies and programmes to look after these underprivileged, specially the children and women, aged & social research and development through seminars, symposium, conferences, etc.
- To organise surveys, studies and research on the subjects pertaining to the social, economic, development of children, women ,aged and the backward sections of the society.
- To organise short-term and long-term education, studies and training facilities for persons in the social sector and those planning a career in social sector, either directly or through reputed national / international/regional level Institutions / Bodies.
- To establish library, reference centre, data bank etc., to facilitate research and studies on the Socio-economic aspects.
- To publish reports, papers, periodicals, monographs, books, journals etc, to disseminate information.
- To generate public opinion at the appropriate levels for social and economic development.
- To undertake specific task and programmes for welfare and development of the selected backward regions.
- To provide advisory and consultancy services to governmental and non-governmental agencies & organisations, engaged in the similar objects.
- To offer prizes, grant scholarship, fellowship, stipend, etc. to the poor and meritorious students and research scholars.
- To associate with other organisations for the achievement of the objects of the society.
- To organise camps, tours, campaign etc. in the areas selected for motivational programmes and training among the people lacking awareness about various developmental programmes and measures of the Government and other agencies.
- To undertake similar and ancillary functions as are necessary or conducive or incidental to furtherance of the stated objectives of the society.
